I have an older model Streamlight headlamp that had a few years on it before I found it in the road in front of my house and it is still working great but looks a little rough. I purchased this as a spare when the other one wears out. I used it for my honey do list this past weekend and it worked very well to repair closet shelving and clean out some bathroom ceiling fans. I really like the low setting for reading directions and I didnt notice a huge difference in brightness between the medium and high setting, but it is bright enough to use in a dark closet and allows adjustment directly on your head or over a baseball cap. Did not notice much if any glare on my glasses either way. Fits great battery life appears to be very good and looks to be water tight as well.This one is much lighter to wear than my old one or other larger AA battery headlamps I have and was very comfortable to wear for a few hours.
