Great all around Earbuds!
As of dec 8 nothing has changed and they all work great!I own these buds, Axil Xcors and Walker’s Disrupter buds. Got these Kleins for $159 and the Xcores at $180 for President’s Day sale and Disrupter s for $144. The Kleins are the middle of the road buds. They sound pretty good all around. Easy to operate with Bluetooth on the left earbud, Smart Sense on the right bud. They’re fast at connecting never had an issue with them charging either. Good phone call quality. Their case is the biggest but for work it helps stick in my occidental bags. Middle of the pack for being comfy of the 3. Easy in and out due to they kick out they have but it’s a con if you end up using them with a beanie they will push on your ear and make them not comfy. Kleins will be the pair I use at work throwing up steel. At reg price $179 I would purchase them again. Walkers are the most tech savvy but you have to use the app to get the most out of these earbuds. You can do the minimal without using the Walker app for which I’ve had zero issues with. Good phone call quality. The earbuds for whatever reason they’re not 100% when case might be but not a biggie but I think once or twice I’ve had one ear bud dead when case wasn’t but that could’ve been on me. Nice size case. These by far sound the best and the loudest. Changing what frequency you hear is kind of cool depending on what environment you are using them in so these will be my casual and hunting buds. Even at reg price $250 I would probably get these buds. The Xcores are probably the most comfortable and the most thought out of how to operate from the earbuds which you can do everything from. The dual case setup is clutch too. And the earbuds are always 100% fully charged. Sadly the sound is the worst out of all three and pretty quiet on phone call makes hearing the other person but they have the best noise reduction rating of 29. These will block out all noise above 85 decibels so it just is a blank cutoff of noise. So they will be my shooting buds. At the price I bought them for I’d probably get them again but not for $300. Each have their pros and cons but depending on what you’ll use em for is the deciding factor imo.

Voice Amplification Poor
Edit- after several months of use, I wouldnt recommend these at all. The whole point of buying these is to hear what people around me were saying (like any pair of pew pew headphones I’ve bought). I now believe that not only are voices not amplified, but that they’re actually reduced. Ive had people literally yelling at my from across the yard and I can’t hear a thing. The amplification is defitnrily turned on as sounds I don’t want to hear (traffic and fans primarily) are extremely amplified.The upsides: hearing protection is good (blocks noise every bit as good as typical foamy plugs), battery life is great (lasts a full work day, haven’t tried pushing them further yet), range is better than claimed (I’ve been 50+ feet with line of sight with no issues), and they’re comfortable for my fitment.Neutral – sound is OK. They’re better than cheap ear buds that come with phones for free, but nowhere near a good set of earbuds. I’m not negatively impacting the rating for this as its not touted as the main selling point- if top sound quality is your primary goal, you wouldn’t be buying these.Negative: the ‘situational awareness’ / external sound playing is awful. That’s supposed to be the whole benefit to buying these over the others in the lineup. The calibration seems to be way off. It does a great job with sirens (passing fire truck for example). Amplifies sounds I don’t want to hear (wind / passing traffic / fans are the worst – it seems to push these through at max amplification). Worst of all, it doesnt amplify voices at all. I can’t hold a conversation with someone standing right next to me (outdoors, not in a heavy construction environment) unless music is under 25% volume or I pause the music completely. Its very annoying as being able to hear people talk is the main reason why I bought these.Bottom line – they’re good ear buds for for job site hearing protection, but don’t spend the extra on this ‘situational awareness’ model – just get the regular ones.
