One of the best ones
In reviewing the marketplace before buying this tool I was disappointed with the selection until I found the Fluke series. First off I actually recognized a brand rather than the many house brand tools that seem to saturate this narrow segment of the cable tool world. The next nearest competitor to the Fluke series was in my opinion the Klein Tools models. I purchased the PTXN8 kit without the 8 room test remotes to give me the best value for the money in the long run. I don't personally need to test 8 rooms yet but wanted that option for the future.Pros:Up to 8 room trackingMany accessory options in either one kit or as add on to an existing kitVisual and audible confirmation at both ends of a test loopCons:Case is a bit cheap inside with foam cutouts that show wear quite quicklyRather loud beepFor my use I rejected the Klein Tools for two reasons; one non replaceable battery and only four room testing at one time.

It’s a nice kit– but if you’re primarily dealing with RJ45
It’s a nice kit– but if you’re primarily dealing with RJ45, you’ll need to buy a full set of adapters to help with your tracing/identifying needs.
