Chews a hole through wood quite happily. Replaces a worn out hole saw. Make sure you work in and out as you drill, if you’re cutting through something thicker like a board. The hole saw will fling the shavings and such out of the way then dig into cutting more of the hole.Has nice side openings for pushing out the wood that might get stuck in there.Price was good and easy to chuck into the drill and start working.

Needed to cut a precisely 1” diameter hole in a valuable antique aluminum boat transom. This hole saw worked beautifully, with a clean cut and very accurate size. The saw blade is easily removed from the spindle in case the removed component gets stuck inside the saw. Don’t spend bigger bucks on whole sets of saws you’ll rarely use, just buy the size you need.
