Powerful, Precise, and Surprisingly Quiet – Great for DIY Projects!
I recently got the Bosch GHO18V-26N 18V Brushless Planer to help flatten the top for a coffee table I’m building, and I couldn’t be happier with the results.Operation & Accuracy: The depth adjuster works great, easy to adjust but retains the setting well. The amount of adjustments that can be made makes it super easy to take off little amounts at a time.Power: The 13,600 RPM motor has plenty of power to handle the Honey Locust wood that I was working on without any hesitation.Dust Management: The switching dual shaving exhaust port really help keep the workspace clean. Selecting which side you want the chips to be pulled through makes it easy to operate because you can run the vacuum hose to either side.Noise Level: One thing that really surprised me was how quiet it is for a planer. It’s much less noisy than I expected, which made the whole experience more pleasant.If you’re into woodworking or DIY furniture projects, this planer is a fantastic addition to your toolkit. It’s efficient, easy to use, and built with thoughtful features that make a real difference.
