Fired consistently through solid oak
I borrowed this model from someone to try before I bought one. With hundreds of brads used on my DIY project, it fired everytime. I used it to attach solid oak door and window casings. Door casing and trim was nearly 2 inches of oak. With just a few brads not sinking on it's highest setting, I was impressed enough to buy my own.
