The Craftsman V20 4-1/2” Cordless Circular Saw might be small, but don’t let its size fool you—it’s basically a caffeinated beaver with a power supply. I bought it to replace my DeWalt, and now the DeWalt just sits in the corner wondering what it did wrong.This thing has power. It chews through wood, vinyl, metal (with the proper blade), even the mystery material behind my old baseboards, without hesitation. It’s lightweight, so you won’t feel like you just arm-wrestled a grizzly after a few cuts, and the 4Ah battery lasts long enough for me to start a project, get distracted, and then come back hours later and finish it—still on the same charge.And yes, I’ve dropped it off the workbench more than once. Still works.
