I use this bad boy to bore 3″ holes 6 to 12″ deep into the end grain of green hardwood logs to make shrink pots. I tried several other professional grade heavy duty drills and burned out the motors in each. This is the only one I haven’t burned out. The clutch is the key. In my opinion this drill is the best high torque drill on the home market. I expect to get years of good use out of it.
