great for piano wire
I had been looking for a good, sturdy pair of round-nose pliers to make loops in piano wire. The first pair I tried, from a piano supply house, was flimsy and the jaws were not perfectly round. On the second pair I tried, the jaws were too long and narrow to do the job right. I needed something with jaws that were sufficiently thick close to the tip. I knew Knipex to be a good brand for this particular tool, but took me a while to figure out which size pliers to get. I finally ended up with these after consulting another piano tech friend (and seeing the other piano tech's review here). They are perfect for what I use them for, and I love the comfort grips. I would have done without them to save a little space were this tool going in my road case, but I mainly use it at the shop, so I don't mind there being a little extra bulk for the sake of comfort. The tool arrived to me clean, in great condition, and operating smoothly.

Je l'utilise pour manipuler du fil métallique fin. Elle est capable de tiré fort sur des brins ('attention ; je parle de fils de vapoteurs, il s'agit de fils fins entre 26 et 36 gauges )Légère et graissée sur son axe, son métal ne marque pas sur l'effort sur du fil inox ou du NI 80.Elle est de qualité ; solide pour mon usage.Je la conseille totalement pour un usage professionnel et de loisir.
