Have a Flathead Screwdriver ready to open and be very careful in how you put the blade in…have the slider button slid back in the handle part, in order for you to put the blade in and line it up right.I took my extra blades out to make it easier to close and screw shut too.I put them with my extra blades I bought.Lots of people had trouble getting it put back together…I think because, they didn’t slide the slider button back enough inside the case for it to line up on the inside correctly to close right.Craftsman is a great product!Should last me forever!Thanks so much! 🙂
