No, this is not the old made in USA Craftsman. Yes, it is comparable in quality, fit and finish. This has become my go to 3/8 ratchet. It can withstand way more torque than you should be placing on a flex-head. Ratchet is low profile and has high tooth count for working in confined areas. Good purchase.
