The filter does what it’s supposed to do with a Streamlight Stinger LED. With my Gen 2+HP monocular the Stinger with IR filter looks pretty much like a night vision version of the flashlight.However; the Streamlight beam almost disappears when I turn on the built-in illuminator on the monocular.The Streamlight has a little more throw than the built-in illuminator, but the hotspot is very small in comparison.I would recommend an actual illuminator for a little more money.
