This torch is inferior to the streamlight [ ,purchased about 4years ago] of the same type.Also, the £71.45 as advertised inc postage, but I was charged over £ 80 for this torch.

I had to get a light to replace my Surefire D3FT and quickly. I didn’t really feel like dropping another few hundred on a light so I started looking at more budget friendly options. This thing has been great. It’s very bright, the flood is nice and wide for illuminating trails in the dark, and the hotspot is great for reaching out when trying to spot something a decent distance away. You can comfortably see about 50yds away with this light on high, which for a handheld light should be more than enough.Rather lightweight in the hand, but feels very sturdy and durable. I wouldn’t push my luck as far as I would with a SureFire, but it’s held up to the normal abuse an EDC light normally would see with no issues whatsoever. The “ten-tap” programmable button is a nice luxury to have, but frankly I normally just run the light on the high only function.Overall thoughts are, I haven’t felt the need to replace this light with a higher end one as it is getting the job done just as well so far. I highly recommend you pick one up if you’re considering it.
