Perfect light for me
I use this light at work (mobile forklift service technician). The light is sturdy and solid. The material feels similar to the grip on a Glock pistol. It is bright enough in low mode to cover most close-up situations and the high setting is definitely bright enough when you need to see at a distance. I wish it had a magnetic base to stick to metal surfaces. The belt clip can also be clipped to the brim of your hat which is nice but you obviously need to be wearing a hat to make use of this headlamp feature. The switch is recessed which helps prevent accidentally pressing it but also makes it a little harder to press. I originally didn’t like how I had to tap the light multiple times to get to the low setting and I have no use for the strobe feature.The directions didn’t explain this but I discovered you can program the light 3 different ways: high/strobe/low (default), high only and low/high. To change between the settings you quick press the light 9 times then hold the button the tenth time until the light shuts off. When you turn the light on again it will be in the next mode. Repeat the process until it’s in the mode you want. I keep mine in the low/high mode.Overall I really like the light especially because it has held up well to abuse. It still looks new due to the poly/plastic material instead of painted metal that would normally chip/peel off from grease, oil and solvents I work with. Great for industrial use.
