The OD on mine is pretty spot on, but make sure and check the ID measurement to a standard. Mine were off almost a thou (.0008&quot; to be exact). They&#039;re non-calibrated calipers so I won&#039;t complain, just something to keep in mind if you do close tolerance work. I definitely prefer the dial calipers for most things because you can see which side of the half thou you&#039;re on. My digi&#039;s work just fine but these are my go to.]]></description>

A couple months old and the very end of the carbide chipped. For some reason I did not expect that. Will continue using mitutoyo but never again with the carbide version.]]></description>
