Awesome. Super smooth. The OD on mine is pretty spot on, but make sure and check the ID measurement to a standard. Mine were off almost a thou (.0008″ to be exact). They’re non-calibrated calipers so I won’t complain, just something to keep in mind if you do close tolerance work. I definitely prefer the dial calipers for most things because you can see which side of the half thou you’re on. My digi’s work just fine but these are my go to.

Nice set , as accurate as any. However I regret spending the extra money on the carbide tipped ones. A couple months old and the very end of the carbide chipped. For some reason I did not expect that. Will continue using mitutoyo but never again with the carbide version.
